What it costs, written down.
Everything here is built from one number: a $200 professional hour. Speaking fees are that rate multiplied by the hours a session actually takes — discovery, custom writing, rehearsal, the day itself, and the debrief. Nothing is a mystery and nothing is negotiated in the dark.
How a keynote fee is built
One rate, multiplied by real hours.
A keynote is never one hour of work. The published fees below already include discovery, custom content, delivery, and materials — there is no separate preparation charge and no surprise line items.
Hourly and advisory
Billed in 30-minute increments after the first hour.

Terms
The rest of the agreement.
Deposit
50% holds the date. The balance is due the day of the engagement.
Travel
Within New England, included. Beyond it, coach airfare, lodging, and ground travel are billed at cost.
Nonprofit and public sector
20% reduction for registered nonprofits, public schools, public health agencies, and graduate programs.
Cancellation
More than 30 days out, the deposit is fully refunded. Inside 30 days, the deposit is retained and applied to a rescheduled date within a year.
Recording
Internal reuse rights are included in Signature and above. Public distribution is licensed separately.
Sliding scale
A limited number of reduced-fee engagements are reserved each year for community organizations. Ask.
